More Please!

Are three posts in one day too much? I got my first comment from my sister, so now I'm pumped and want to post more! I just have so many pics that I've stored up that I need to get on here.

So, next, is not one that I am most proud of. It's a little sloppy, but fun. If I do it again I'd fix it so the side ponytails go in to each other. I'll show you,

See how that first pony is falling out? Well, I could have easily included it into the next ponytail so it won't fall out. Oh well, that's what this blog is for. Live and learn. It was really cute from the front though. I just took the whole front section from the left side to the right (not in any straight line) just twisting as I went. Then did the same thing for the next section. But for the third section I went the opposite way from right to left. It was messy, but cute.

She just needs some wooden shoes!

Hair, Snot, and Food!

Now, my main reason for even doing my toddler's hair is to just get it out of her face. The hair, mixed with snot, mixed with food is not a pretty thing. So I love hairstyles that are simple and keep her hair out of her food. 

Rubber band styles are cute and fun to do. I first saw this one on a little girl at church. It creates kind of a headband style (since real headbands are definitely out for her) 

I know I really need to do these kinds of hairstyles the way that her wisps go!

Another rubber band style that is cute and easy is this one. It is pulled into two rubber bands on each side and then into pigtail buns.

First One Ever!

Well I've finally gotten the first post up! I've had the blog made for awhile, just needed my husband to stop doing schoolwork so I could use his computer. 


It's been tough since my good old macbook pro died. It's not easy sharing a computer with the hubby. See schoolwork seems to be more important then me blogging. That just doesn't make sense to me. 


Well I have a lot of pics but I'll start from the beginning. It's fun to watch how my hair skills have evolved since I started doing Sage's hair (not that they're that great or anything).

The basic pigtail braid

Now, I am not the best with a camera so all of my pictures are very flashy, full of iphoto doctored red eyes (which are very black!) and many are blurry because it's not easy to chase a 2 year old around with a camera. 


So here is the first basic hairstyle that I started with in the beginning. It made me feel like I was a good Mom because I braided my daughter's hair. And it was easy.

It is in a tight pigtail and then a braid so it has a better chance of staying in.


So this is a great beginner hairstyle for when your toddler's hair starts getting longer. There will be plenty more coming!
